District 75 is committed to providing coherent, individualized math instruction that empowers students with disabilities and diverse language needs. We nurture independence, foster dignity, and support integration into the community, by ensuring access to culturally responsive content and inclusive math opportunities. 


We are committed to disrupting inequities in mathematics education and affirming that every student has the potential to excel. Through dedicated support and inclusive practices, we ensure students receive the resources they need to develop their full academic and social-emotional potential.

About Us

Danielle Clermont

Danielle Clermont is a Mathematics Coach for District 75, where she designs and facilitates professional development for staff and coaches educators to enhance math instruction for students with disabilities. With over 15 years of experience supporting students with disabilities, Danielle's background includes teaching in District 9 and District 24, as well as holding various leadership roles both inside and outside of NYC Public Schools. Prior to her current role, she served as a Director of Education in a private school for students with disabilities in Connecticut. Danielle is passionate about developing pedagogy that is equitable and accessible for all students with disabilities.

A native New Yorker, Danielle was born and raised in Queens and attended NYC public schools from K-12. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Stony Brook University, a Master's in Special Education from Hunter College, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Lehman College.

Jack Catalano

Jack Catalano is an experienced teacher and instructional coach with District 75. He taught students with disabilities for 10 years at P226M in 8:1:1, 6:1:1, and transition classes. He currently serves as a District 75 mathematics instructional coach. Jack has extensive expertise developing differentiated instruction, implementing assistive technology, analyzing student data, and creating targeted interventions to support diverse learners. He has demonstrated strong leadership abilities through his roles as a mentor teacher, teacher development facilitator, curriculum team member, and school-wide Thinking Maps coach.

Jack holds a bachelor's degree in Exceptional Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Born and raised in Wisconsin, his sports fandom remains loyal to all Wisconsin teams. He is both disabled, living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and neurodivergent with ADHD. His own disabilities fuel his passion for empowering educators to meet the needs of all students through the principles of Universal Design for Learning and building a more inclusive world. He wants the world to know that disabled is not a bad word!
